The III San Patricio Regatta

On Sunday March 19th 2023, the III San Patricio Regatta was held  with the Real Club Náutico of Arrecife, Lanzarote, who host the regattas and their official events. On this occasion, Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland was celebrated.

The sporting event was held with two J80 class boats, representing the Royal Nautical Club of Arrecife (RCN) and the Royal Irish Yacht Club (RIYC), of Ireland. The Lanzarote crew that won 4 to 1 was made up of the members: Pedro de León Padrón, Felipe Brito Toledo, Eduardo Brito Sánchez and Salvador Postigo. Once the competition was over, the awards and closing ceremony took place at the yacht club, and a buffet was served that was enlivened by lively Irish music and dancing.

The president of the RCNA, Julio Romero Ortega , announced the future collaboration agreement between the RCNA and the Irish RIYC.
