Saborea Lanzarote, A World Class Gastrony Event in Lanzarote:

Saborea Lanzarote is a gastronomic event held In Teguise, Lanzarote. The event celebrates the local cuisine, highlighting the island’s traditional dishes, ingredients, and culinary heritage.  The event  features a series of activities such as food tastings, cooking demonstrations, workshops, and gastronomic tours.

Local chefs, restaurants, wineries, and food producers participate in Saborea Lanzarote, showcasing their products and expertise to both locals and visitors. The event  not only promotes Lanzarote’s culinary delights but also supports the island’s food industry and sustainable gastronomy practices.

This year LIN was delighted to play a role in the event by bringing together, Anthony O’Toole and Seaneen Sullivan to represent Dublin at the Saborea Lanzarote Event.

Seáneen is the co-owner & Director of Lovely Food at L. Mulligan. Grocer in Stoneybatter. She is a cook, food scholar and drinks sommelier with a talent for pairing Ireland’s indigenous drinks and local food. She is also the founder of Mistresses of Malt, whiskey tastings that celebrate the women of Irish whiskey and co-founder of #thisisirishfood, a worldwide campaign to celebrate Irish food and the people and places who make it.

Anthony is the founder of Fat Tomato, an edible garden located in the southeast of Ireland that produces over 500 heritage varieties of fruit, herbs, and vegetables. He is a chef, tutor, activist, accredited culinary professional, and sommelier. He is also an avid collector of cookbooks and writes about food, culture, and travel.
