Trade Mission
Fostering international business relations.
LIN is honored to have played a pivotal role in facilitating the inaugural Trade Mission between Lanzarote and Ireland. This significant undertaking was the result of collaborative efforts between LIN, Proexca, and Turismo Lanzarote, reflecting our commitment to fostering international business relations.
The primary objective of this mission was to introduce the special fiscal system of Lanzarote and the Canary Islands, known as the ZEC (Zona Especial Canaria). This system offers some of the most competitive corporate tax rates in Europe, at an astonishingly low 4%. The mission commenced with a prestigious corporate breakfast event held at the iconic Shelbourne Hotel, where PROEXCA (The Canary Islands Investment and Promotion Agency) provided an in-depth presentation on the ZEC to prospective Irish companies.

Following this informative breakfast event, we extended invitations to five Irish companies specializing in hospitality, logistics, and finance sectors to visit Lanzarote as a delegation. Their mission was to conduct an in-depth exploration of the ZEC and its workings. During their delegation visit, these Irish businesses engaged in productive meetings with local government officials and potential business partners, fostering strategic collaborations.
LIN remains committed to supporting trade missions and firmly believes that creating opportunities through such initiatives aligns with our core mission.
