Trade Mission at the Shelbourne

Trade Mission at the Shelbourne

The prestigious Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, was the venue for our first trade mission, showcasing the compelling advantages of investing in the Canary Islands. Business leaders, investors, and government officials convened to delve into the numerous opportunities presented in conjunction with the Spanish government’s ZEC (Canary Islands Special Zone) and the Proexca agency for investment development.

The mission invited a pre-selected group of proven 10—15 entrepreneurs or potential companies wishing to expand south. There was a series of briefings with top specialists in Tax structuring in EU taxation framework and incentives, Legal Overviews and Government Structure.

The event was a platform for highlighting the unique tax benefits and incentives that investing in the Canary Islands offers. Attendees were treated to insightful presentations and discussions, shedding light on how the ZEC program can significantly reduce corporate taxes for eligible companies, making the Canary Islands an attractive destination for foreign investment.

The Proexca agency, dedicated to promoting economic development and foreign investment in the Canary Islands, showcased the region’s strategic location, infrastructure, and skilled workforce. They emphasized how these factors, combined with ZEC tax advantages, create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.

As the event concluded, attendees departed with a deeper understanding of the advantages awaiting those who invest in the Canary Islands. The trade mission had successfully conveyed the message that this Spanish archipelago is not only a paradise for tourists but also a haven for savvy investors seeking tax incentives and a supportive ecosystem for their ventures.
